If you don't take care of your body, where are you going to live?
When your body's roots are solid the rest of you blooms. You find your best self because you FEEL like your best self. Without attention to the fundamental needs of your body, there is no bouncing back. My goal with each client in each session, bodywork or coaching, is to address your individual needs to strengthen your body's roots and realize it's potential so that you are always prepared for what life throws at you.
I am an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Licensed Massage Therapist. I have been doing massage, personal training, coaching, teaching yoga, and guiding my clients to a healthier lifestyle for 19 years. I am a lifelong athlete, mom, and military spouse. I've had a total hip replacement, 3 babies, and several injuries. I know pain and struggle. And I know how to come back from it. I have a passion for helping people feel better so they can get on with doing whatever it is that brings them joy without the distraction of pain or worries about health.
I use a variety of bodywork techniques in each massage session depending on the wishes and needs of each client.
Some of the modalities used include:
-Therapeutic massage
-Sports massage
-Deep tissue & trigger point
-Lymphatic Drainage Massage
-TMJD treatment
-Massage cupping (silicone cups-no fire)
-Swedish massage
-Prenatal massage
-Cancer massage (supportive touch-Dr.'s written approval required)
-Geriatric massage
I don't believe in a one size fits all approach to fitness. Fitness looks different on every individual and no one approach works for everyone's lifestyle or goal. You may be starting from scratch with no experience and need to learn the basics of mobility and nutrition so you can just feel healthier. You may be in retirement and want to take care of your body and have the strength, balance, and energy to enjoy the things you love to do. You may need help getting through a plateau and changing things up to reach a goal. You may have a child that needs help training for a sport. Or, you may want to take it to a competitive level and compete in a road/bike/adventure race, a physique competition, or a weight lifting competition. I want to help you set and reach YOUR goal of fitness that is realistic for YOUR life. Fitness is about building a solid foundation and well functioning vessel in which to live the life YOU want long term. Each journey with a client begins with a movement assessment to determine any movement dysfunctions. Programming is built around each individual's abilities, focusing first on correcting any muscle imbalances and doing things that mirror how you need/want to use your body in your daily life.
Nutrition is the FOUNDATION of good health. Food is either medicine or poison to your body. Unhealthy food options flood our lives every day and it can be difficult to establish the right habits to fuel our lives properly. Most people need education, support and guidance to make those changes. But it can be done. And it doesn't have to be extreme. It does have to be tailored to you.
Even with proper nutrition, some of us may need support through natural supplements. If that is the case, and under the supervision of a medical professional, you can get them here at my discount.

If you only have a short amount of time to spare but need to unwind this is for you. Note: 30 minutes is only partial body, not enough time for full. GREAT option to do head, hands, and feet!
Full body relaxation massage.
Indulge a little more with 90 glorious minutes of relaxation.
Medium to deep pressure using specific techniques to treat musculoskeletal imbalances, strains, injuries, and chronic pain. *Includes cupping and/or scraping as needed. For full body treatments 90-120 minutes required.
If you're having an acute pain issue that needs immediate treatment/relief. I will accommodate the best I can to get you a quick appointment. These appointments are for emergencies and not for regular treatments.
An hour will typically allow for treatment of 1/2 of the body with specialty work. Upper body, Lower body, anterior or posterior but not full body due to the nature of the treatment and added cupping and scraping as needed.
This will (typically) allow me to work on the full body and cup/scrape 1/2 as needed. At least 90 minutes is recommended for anyone needing specialty bodywork.
2 hours allows enough time to do manual treatment plus cupping/scraping (as needed) of the WHOLE body. If you want a truly thorough session, this is the one. You will leave with no stone unturned.
